“Hosts were incredibly friendly, warm and receptive. Their dogs (hypoallergic poodles) were the cutest to play with and well-behaved. The room itself (Library Room) is cozy and rustic with more than enough things we needed. Some items like toothpaste are lacking but I'm sure that if you ask the hosts, you'll be able to get one anyway. Overall, the experience was incredible and I would recommend this place to everyone! “Another great stay. The dog set provides treats, metal bowls, plastic tray and bed- great way to keep fido from messing up. Better than the usual hotel morning fare, 2 machines for specialty coffee drinks, no waiting. Older building, rooms renovated and large. Lots of bathroom counter space. Ebikes available for use. Quiet, clean, good value.”

“Street parking with resident pass was easy to find and safe. Room was clean, charming and well appointed. Guest laundry, guest kitchen, lovely sitting room. Close to everything. 20 minute walk to downtown with shops and restaurants along the way. Would recommend for a quiet getaway.”

“Ho apprezzato soprattutto la cortesia e la disponibilità della reception e la posizione dell'albergo, da cui si può raggiungere tranquillamente a piedi sia la zona del Fisherman che il Parlamento. Vicinissima la fermata del bus per andare ai Butchart Gardens. Nella hall è sempre disponibile gratuitamente per gli ospiti caffè americano e tè caldo.”

“Parking was underground and was fine. We were disappointed with the air exchange/heater unit. It was very noisy and cycled often, resulting in a poor sleep.”
