“Howie & Karen were tremendous hosts and made my family and I feel extremely welcomed! They were even super cool with accomadating last minute changes to my booking. My two boys had a blast and they were surprised with an amazing breakfast the morning after! We enjoyed our time so much that we’re planning to re-book for next year around the same time! Thanks again!”

“The staff were very nice and the place was well put together and clean. The only thing I found a little odd was how the sink was outside of the bathroom but that's just the layout. Very satisfied overall.”

“The room was clean and spacious. The staff were extremely helpful, even though we couldn't get the T.V. to work, (we are not at all technical). Big bonus being dog friendly. The free breakfast was really nice with waffles, sausages, eggs, muffins and yogurt. And we had an upgrade to a king size bed! We will definately recoment THe Waddling Dog, and we will be back!”

“Struttura priva di ascensore. Stanza piccola e soffocante. Il condizionatore era un alambicco attaccato al muro molto rumoroso e poco efficace nel rinfrescare. Nei dintorni c'erano barboni, prostitute e persone con siringhe alla mano. Zona poco affidabile. Eviterei questo hotel”

“Staff were so helpful and accommodating. The property had so much charm and very inviting. The bed was comfortable. Had everything I needed. The soaps and coffees were local and added a nice touch.”

“Pictures on website did not match reality. Motel room had been updated in the cheapest way possible. Example door knob of closet was stuck on and came off the door when I opened the it. Toilet paper holder was stuck on the side of a cabinet. Outside looked run down and most people appeared to be permanent residents.”

“The windows in our room were so dirty that it was hard to see the view. The rug was thread bear and had a hole that had been poorly repaired with the rug pad showing through . The gardens may have been lovely in years gone by but clearly aren’t getting any attention now. For almost $400 Canadian/ night I would expect more attention to detail and care for this beautiful old home. I won’t return”
